Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.

Please add your information to the chart. This way your classes can "see" where the story is traveling and have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students who collaborate on their story.

Title (Given by the last class):

Start your story here:
Some day beyond time in the rural mountain region of Japan,
...there lived a giant, two-headed, extremely hairy monster. He was green and had blonde tangly hair, sharp teeth, and large spikes down his back. He had puppy dog eyes, which may have made him look sweet, but only until the awful roaring and the fire-breathing began! He was an angry monster, and his only mission was to destroy the small village in Japan. He began by throwing flaming chopsticks at the village. They crashed into the buildings, setting them ablaze. The rice paddies didn’t stand a chance against the flames, and they soon were on fire too. However, the fire damage was not enough for this monster.
He dug into his storage shed and pulled out his classroom-sized trampoline. He dragged it through town, set it up in the town square, and climbed on. He jumped, and he jumped, and he jumped! Eighteen times he jumped up and down, gaining speed and height with each bounce! On the eighteenth jump, he flew into the air yelling, “Goodbye, Village; I’ll get you!” He spread out his arms and legs, and landed with a belly flop on top of the busiest restaurant in town.

The ground shook throughout the entire village. The tables and chairs in the restaurant flew through the air like lava from a volcano. Everyone frantically searched for shelter from the hideous, furious two-headed monster.

Now, Sid, that's the hairy monster's name, sees the people scattering through the city and wonders why they are so scared of him. All he wants is a nice dinner and some friends. Earlier that day, he tried to bar-b-que some tasty shish-kabobs, but it turn disasterous. The flames grew too high and tried to burn him so he threw it. Unfortunately, it landed on some buildings and they caught fire. Then he decided to exercise to get his mind off of food and that turned out even worse. He jumped on his trampoline and just couldn't stop. The only way he could stop jumping was to jump off. That's when he landed in the middle of the restaurant.

Sid was sad. Would he ever find dinner? And more importantly, how could he make friends in this tiny village?
