Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.

Please add your information to the chart. This way your classes can "see" where the story is traveling and have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students who collaborate on their story.

The Adventure of Mike the Reindeer
Once upon a time an elf named Jolly was helping a reindeer named Mike get ready for school. Jolly made a lunch for Mike. He made a sandwich made of wheat bread, lettuce, and cheese. For dessert Jolly made oatmeal cookies. Jolly put the lunch sack in Mike’s backpack. Jolly helped Mike hang his backpack on his antlers. Mike was ready to go to school. Mike took one step toward the door, sneezed, and…

.....shot backwards across the room! His lunch fell out of his backpack, and he started going up. He realized that he could fly! Mike could hardly wait to get to Reindeer Flight School. He rushed into school and spent all morning telling his friends what he could do. At lunchtime he put his hoof in his backpack and was shocked to find he had no lunch! "I don't need the sandwich," said Mike, "but I have to have the oatmeal cookies. They are magical. They...

….had to be somewhere! Mike started searching for the cookies. “Geez”, Mike yelled, “I have to find the magical cookies before recess!” He looked in his classroom, in the lunch room, and even in the storage closet. They were nowhere to be found. He asked his friend, Rudolph, if he had any oatmeal cookies. Mike was in luck because Rudolph had one last oatmeal cookie left. Mike put the cookie in his pocket and waited for recess. All the reindeer gathered around. “This magical cookie will help me fly”, Mike announced. As he took a bite of the cookie the crowd gasped. However, his feet were still on the ground. Mike was confused, so he took another bite. Still nothing happened. The reindeers all started laughing at him and making fun him. Mike took one last bite and suddenly sneezed….Aachooo!!! Next thing he knew, he was waking up in his bed. It was all a Christmas dream!
