Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.
Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.
Please add your information to the chart. This way your classes can "see" where the story is traveling and have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students who collaborate on their story.

Title (Given by the last class):
Start your story here: Once upon a time there was a group of kids walking on the prairie. They came to the woods. The kids saw there was a coyote feeding on a muskrat that had been feeding on cattails. Little did the kids know that the coyote was named Blaster the coyote. He was known for how nice he was, except when he saw a muskrat. "Lunch!" he thought. He never hurt mice.
One specific night, actually Christmas night, a hedgehog named Roy, was out looking for Santa when he thought he saw the sleigh out on the prairie. Roy ran toward the sleigh, but he ran into Blaster the coyote.
All of a sudden Roy the Hedgehog tripped over something white. It was Valorie the Least Weasel. "Hey! My coat is white in the winter! You should have seen the black tip on my tail! I'm sleeping!"
A big fat badger heard all the commotion so he came out of his burrow. Darrell was a grumpy old badger who lived in a giant haystack hotel. "Santa is not real, you little vermin." He crawled back into his burrow.

A bully fox, named Tyson, was out looking for someone to mess with when he saw his friend Blaster the Coyote. "Hey, what's up Blaster? What are you doing? Looking for muskrats? Can I help you?"

Blaster says, “No, I work alone.” They get into a heated argument. All of a sudden they heard jingle bells. Slowly, they looked up. Santa! But uh oh, a red sleigh was tumbling from the sky into the dark woods. Momentarily, Rudolph descends from the sky in a heaping panic. They can see his bright, red nose. Rudolph reported to Blaster and Tyson that Santa crashed in the woods. Blaster and Tyson go courageously searching for Santa. They look for hours on end, but they can’t find him. When they thought all hope was gone, they saw Santa in the dented, bright, red sleigh. Santa comes out with big, black rocks. “Oh no, coal!” says Tyson surprisingly. Santa says, “Tyson, you’ve been mean bully and you deserve a lot of coal.” All of a sudden, Tyson wakes up…

…..and goes downstairs to look in his stocking. He finds a little tiny clown in his stocking. The clown says, “You should be nicer so you will get more presents.” Then the clown gives him a magical potato that is like a conscience. Tyson then takes his magical potato out into the forest. He draws a smiley face on it and names it Mitch. Tyson plants Mitch, the potato, which magically grows into many more potatoes with good consciences. He sees his friend, the coyote, Blaster, and gives him a potato. Then Blaster asks, “What in tarnation is this?” This is a magical potato that will help you be a better coyote. “Tyson, you’ve gone crazy!” said Blaster. Blaster was a bit hungry, so he ate the potato. Even though he swallowed the potato and it went all the way down to his stomach, magically the potato appeared back in his paws. Then Tyson and Blaster walk down to haystack hotel and wake up Darrell. “What do you two no good youngsters want?” “We’re here to give you a magical potato so you will be kind to all creatures!” exclaimed the two friends. Darrel shot back, “I don’t need any newfangled gadgets to make me nicer. I’m nice enough for me!” The two buddies throw the potato at Darrell and he automatically reaches out and grabs it! The potato turns around in his hand and starts to talk to him in a high squeaky voice. “Hey, I’m a magical potato and now I’m yours. You’re stuck with me buddy!” Then Tyson realizes that the magical potato might have been a sign from Santa telling them that they should be nicer. So Tyson, Darrel and Blaster decide to take a trip to the North Pole to ask Santa about the magical potato.
