Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.

Please add your information to the chart. This way your classes can "see" where the story is traveling and have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students who collaborate on their story.

Willie And Lola's Thanksgiving

Start your story here:
One day Lola Turkey was hiding near a pond in the woods. She looks around and realizes that she is lost. She is scared. She starts running around looking for her friend Willie Turkey. She does not see him anywhere.
Lola Turkey yelled, "Willie Turkey, where are you?" He doesn't answer. She looked in a tall tree. He wasn't there. She looked in the blue pond. He wasn't there. She looked under the lily pad. He wasn't there. She is very sad that she cannot find her friend, Willie Turkey. She was thinking about where should she look now.

Just then Lola heard something..."Gobble,gobble, gobble!" It was Willie Turkey hiding behind a bush! "Silly Willie," said Lola Turkey. "I have been looking for you everywhere!" "I was hiding here because I do not want to get eaten on Thanksgiving day!" said Willie. Lola Turkey had an idea. "Let's put on some disguises so that no one knows we're turkeys!"

"We could be fish!" said Lola. "No, that won't work because we can't swim!"

"We could be flowers!" said Willie. "No, that won't work, I'm allergic to flowers," said Willie.

"I've got it" cried Lola. "We can be skunks. Nobody would ever want to eat a skunk for Thanksgiving dinner!"

"That's a great idea" said Lola. So they dressed up as skunks. They put some garbage in their costumes so they would smell bad. When the hunters came by and saw the skunks and smelled them they ran away as fast as they could!

They were very glad that they didn't get eaten. They had the greatest Thanksgiving ever!
