Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to
the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.
Please visit the
for more information.
Please add your information to the chart. This way your classes can "see" where the story is traveling and have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students who collaborate on their story.

Title (Given by the last class): The Happy Hurkey (Human/Turkey) Thanksgiving
Start your story here:
One sunny day, there was a turkey who was waddling through the forest. A family was walking through the forest too. The little boy named Griffin spotted the turkey. He had an idea. "We should catch the turkey and fatten him up for Thanksgiving dinner," said Griffin.
"Don't get close too that turkey. He might be dangerous," said the dad. Griffin did not listen and he started to
the turkey. Griffin caught up to the turkey and wrapped his arms around it. Dad let them take the turkey home. They took the turkey home and had a wonderful turkey dinner.
Griffin and his Dad went back into the woods to catch another turkey.
This time Dad wanted to catch the turkey. But the turkey decide he was going to hunt Dad instead.
He started to chase dad. Before Dad got away he got scratch by the big turkey.
Dad was okay but he started to feel werid. He started to grow feathers.
Then he then got really round and plump. Dad realized he was turning into a turkey.
They were trying to get home really fast. Before they could get home a turkey stop
them because they thought he was his father.
Griffin asked the boy turkey to hurry up and turn his father back into a human. He was really starting to worry about his dad. Would he be a turkey forever?
"No I will NOT change him back," said the little boy turkey, "he's my father!" He had a very cranky expression on his beak.
"No, he's MY father!" moaned Griffin, "and if you don't turn my father back into a human we'll eat you for dinner!" Griffin had a very scared expression on his face.
“What are you talking about?” Griffin and the boy turkey shouted at the same time. Their eyes flew wide open because they were both so confused!
So they turned to Dad and asked, “Who’s dad ARE you?”
The Dad said, “Gobble, gobble!”
Griffin asked, “What does THAT mean?”
The little boy turkey was getting so angry that he bit the Dad turkey again! Suddenly he turned back into a human. Dad asked, “Where am I??”
“You are near your home. You are not a turkey anymore.” Griffin had an idea. He bit the boy turkey and “POOF”, the boy turkey was human now too! They went back to their house and had a big celebration that lasted a week!
