Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.

If you would like to share any contact information please feel free to add it to the chart. This way your classes have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students that collaborate on their story.

Please feel free to make corrections to your name/school/location or add the names of teachers if you are working with someone on this project.

Title (Given by the last class): The Magic of the Three Crystals

Start your story here:
One glorious future day in Iceland in the year 2050, it is 1000 degrees. People disappeared 20 years ago and the world is now inhabited by robots, aliens and puffins. Yellow hovercrafts zip at light speed from stinky puffin clothing factories. Ernie, the King Puffin, is in control of the world. He controls a huge robotic fish that swallows anything that gets into Crystal Pond. King Ernie commanded, “No robots, aliens or puffins may swim in the pond.”
All the robots, aliens and puffins secretly scheme to get into Crystal Pond when Ernie and the huge robotic fish are not looking. Crystal Pond is the only pond left in the entire world. All the other water has evaporated because of the fierce heat.

The robots, aliens and puffins plan a huge party to celebrate the king’s birthday. Everyone was invited, even Bob, the robotic guardian of Crystal Pond. What King Puffin did not know was the party was really a distraction so that Sniffup, who is really Secret Agent “S”, could explore Crystal Pond. While the partygoers were dancing and eating, Sniffup secretly dove into the water. He swam deep into the waters of Crystal Pond and found out why they call it “Crystal” Pond. There were magic crystals on the bottom of the pond that would give you powers to cool the earth from the fierce heat. King Puffin was keeping them a secret so he could have all the power to himself.
As Sniffup emerged from the pond, Bob was waiting for him on the shore.

Bob asked Sniffup, "Why were you in the pond? No one is supposed to go in there!". Bob grabbed Sniffup and said, "I'm taking you to the dungeon!". After throwing Sniffup in the dungeon he went to report the news to King Puffin. Ernie the King Puffin is FURIOUS, he ends the party and heads down to the dungeon. He grabs Sniffup and hauls him to court.
Meanwhile, other agents are hiding and see Sniffup get captured. While Sniffup is in court the pond is unattended so the other agents dive into the water to see what is there and bring some crystals up to the surface. While attempting to escape they are captured they spot three other guards who outrun them and capture them as well, throwing them in the same dungeon. The guards were so furious with the agents for going into Crystal Pond that they forgot to get the crystals back.
While sitting in the dungeon the agents pull out the crystals and examine them. They begin to wonder just how powerful they are.

Sniffup is holding one of the crystals. The crystal is in the shape of a rocket and is made from clear and transparent quartz. It weighs 20 pounds and is a foot long. It has a powerful glow and lights up the dungeon. It makes the dungeon so much cooler!
As Sniffup is holding the crystal, he begins to disappear. The power of this crystal is invisibility! “OMG, I can’t see my arms! What is happening?” yells Sniffup. Agent P screams, “What is happening to us!” Agent X, the smart one, says, “The crystal made us all invisible! Now we can get out of this dungeon!”
Agent X pulls out a paper clip and unlocks the dungeon door. As the guards watch, the door magically opens and shuts! No one exits or enters. One of the guards says, “Is it me or is that door opening with no one there?”
The agents sneak out. Then the agents touch the other crystal and they get the power of strength. Agent X punches a wall with his power of strength and breaks out of the castle next to the lake. The third crystal starts to glow, it turns green then red and then is transparent. The air around the lake turns cold. The sky turns green and the lake turns into ice.

Suddenly, from the third crystal a cloud appears! The agents realize that the power from this crystal is weather! Ice crystals start to fall from the sky and the Earth starts to cool down. When the ice crystals hit the pond, it turns red.

King Puffin is walking with Bob when a basketball comes flying through the air (thrown by the secret agents) and hits the King on the head, knocking him into the frozen pond. The ice under him cracks and he falls in! Bob jumps in to save his king but POW is electrocuted by a crystal! However, this turns Bob into a good robot who wants to help others, not just the King. Bob helps King Puffin out of the water. The secret agents, who are no longer invisible, run up to them.

“King Puffin, unless you promise to share, you will be thrown in the dungeon!” says Agent X.

King Puffin nods his head. “Ok,” he says.

As King Puffin promised to share, the magic crystal cloud starts raining alien poison dart frogs! The frogs grab the basketball and challenge the Puffins to a friendly game. They play, having fun, and everyone lives peacefully ever after!
