Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.

If you would like to share any contact information please feel free to add it to the chart. This way your classes have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students that collaborate on their story.

Please feel free to make corrections to your name/school/location or add the names of teachers if you are working with someone on this project.

Title (Given by the last class): The Evil Easter Bunny Who Almost Destroys Easter

Start your story here:

Once upon a time, there was an Easter bunny named Harold who hated Easter. Harold was a brown bunny who had red veined eyes, gigantic feet, tiny arms, and a chunk bitten out of his ear. The reason why Harold hated Easter is that in the past, when Harold was delivering eggs to a girl named Gertrude, she saw him behind a bush and thought Harold was a hidden chocolate bunny. While Harold wasn’t looking, Gertrude sprang up and bit a huge chunk out of his ear! Harold kicked and screamed. At once, Gertrude spat out the ear, while running to her mom yelling, “Its alive! The chocolate bunny is alive!” Harold hopped away to Easter Bunny Inc. and told his boss that he was going to quit, but his boss didn’t let him because Harold knew too many Easter Bunny secrets. Harold immediately got himself a pair of slinky eyed glasses so nobody would ever mistake him for a chocolate bunny again. Ever since this day, every Easter, Harold continues his Easter Bunny duties by setting exploding Easter eggs, melting chocolate bunnies, and Easter Basket traps. Kids all over the world experienced his evil pranks and many of them became terrified of Easter. These Easter traps were going perfect until...

Miss Bartel`s grade 5`s and 6`s

Until one night, Will sat up waiting to capture the Easter Bunny! Will had been planning for the last few months how he planned to capture the evil bunny. On Easter Eve, Granny came to spend the night with Will's family. Will had fallen asleep while waiting to capture the bunny using his fishing net. Meanwhile, Granny gets up during the night for a glass of water and sees something moving around in the family room. Granny screams for help. Will is immediately awoken and comes running with his hefty net. However, while trying to escape, Harold steps on one of Will's traps and a rope grabs him by the foot and suspends him into the air. He has nowhere to go!

Suddenly, a light shone in Harold’s face. Will jumped in the air, yelling victoriously, “I caught the Easter Bunny!” He felt certain that Harold couldn’t go anywhere, so he told Harold that he was going back to bed and would tell him his fate the next morning. He also told Harold to be prepared to spill the beans on all of those Easter Bunny, Inc. secrets. Harold used his time alone to gnaw through the rope and escape. When he finally made his way back to Easter Bunny, Inc., he wanted one thing and one thing only, REVENGE!!! He used his life savings to quickly hire the finest bounty hunters, the Eggsecutors! They returned to Will’s house, certain that no one would be awake. They sneaked in through an attic window and carefully made their way downstairs, only to find Granny watching her favorite late-night soap opera. After taking Granny hostage, Harold was sure his elaborate plan could not fail.

The Eggsecutors (man sized, mutated baby chicks) were to take Granny to Harold's secret lair. Harold's plan was to "take out" all Easter candy lovers one at a time. He'd watch Granny for years as she consumed huge quantities of jellybeans and chocolate bunnies, and he knew she would be his first target. Meanwhile, Will and his Scooter Club Bandits followed mysteriously large bird droppings into Walmart, for they had a sneaking suspicion Granny was held captive somewhere close. In the lair, the Eggsecutors were grilling Granny about how many bunnies she had eaten so far this year. She appeared to be an old frail, pitiful woman as she was using her ninja star to cut into her captive's ropes. Then..."Hiiiiiiiii Yaaaaaaah!" she unleashed a big bowl of Granny soup on her kidnappers. As she is karate choppping the large mutant chicks, feathers, beaks and talons are entangled in a ball of squaking fury. At the same time, Will and Scooter Club Bandits are in hot pursuit as they ask the Walmart greeter if he has seen his Granny, a brown raggedy eared bunny and a half dozen mutant chicks. The greeter points the way to the comforter section on aisle 10. As Will feels exasperated, he sits on a leopard printed king sized comforter to ponder his next move. He sees a yellow feather on the floor. He then reaches down to pick it up and finds himself plummeting down a long, silver laundry chute.

Harold is waiting at the bottom of the eggstreme laundry chute when to his surprise, Will comes crashing down on top of him. Will is eggsausted from his journey down the chute and stops to have a nap. As Granny is still fighting the Eggsecutors, her wig flies off hitting one of the Eggsecutors in the eye. Meanwhile, Gertrude and her mom and dad enter Walmart looking for bedclothes. She sees the eggsact same feather in the eggsact same spot on the floor. As she stoops to pick up the feather she also falls down the laundry chute that Will fell down. As she lands at the bottom of the chute on top of Harold and Will, she curiously looks at Harold. She notices his torn ear and becomes eggscited. Reaching into her pocket she pulls out a torn piece of cloth. She now becomes very eggcited and walks slowly towards Harold and sews the piece of cloth back to his ear. She has been carrying it with her ever since the day of the accident. Gertrude says she’s sorry to Harold. Harold is now eggstatic to have his ear back and tells the Eggsecutors to stop fighting with Granny. Granny stops and apologizes to the Eggsecutors for her part. They all look around for the eggsit and come across an elevator. They take the elevator up to Walmart. They all then go over to Harold’s house to celebrate Easter. Harold being the eggscellent Easter Bunny that he is, gives them all Easter eggs and NO MORE PRANKS! Harold loves Easter again and they all live happily ever after!
