Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Please visit the Instructions Page for more information.

If you would like to share any contact information please feel free to add it to the chart. This way your classes have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students that collaborate on their story.

Please feel free to make corrections to your name/school/location or add the names of teachers if you are working with someone on this project.

Title (Given by the last class):

Start your story here:

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jack. Jack's favorite thing to do in the whole world was to paint Easter eggs each Spring. This year, he got out all of his supplies; paint, eggs, brushes, colored dye and stickers. He started working. He painted zig-zags, polka dots and stripes in every color. He put each of his eggs in a special place and went outside to play. When he came back in, all of his precious eggs were gone!

After playing outside for a while, Jack went inside to check his special place and saw that his eggs were missing! There was a note but the writing was smudged! After looking at the note carefully, he noticed something on the back. It was a clue to find the eggs! There was a map that was leading Jack in different ways. Which way should Jack go?

Jack decided to go left. When he went left he found a plastic egg with a riddle inside. The riddle told Jack to take a different path. Now, Jack decided to take the path on the map pointing right. While looking at the map, Jack noticed a small note on the bottom. The note said to follow the colorful sparkly rocks. Jack said out loud, “Where are the colorful rocks?” All of the sudden colorful, sparkly rocks appeared! So, he began to follow the magical path! Jack followed the colorful rocks until suddenly he saw a big, sparkly, polka dot egg. The egg began to shake and then POP, out jumped white, fluffy baby bunnies. The bunnies were jumping everywhere! Then, the bunnies quick wrote a note that said, “follow us”! The bunnies were jumping fast so Jack hurried along behind them. All at once, Jack looked up and saw the most beautiful big sparkly house that was made of eggs!

When Jack walked into the house made of eggs… he couldn’t believe his eyes! The bunnies that he followed all of a sudden had turned into chocolate! Jack thought to himself, “Oh, no! Who will help me now? I have to find my eggs!” Just then he heard a loud POOF! There in front of him appeared an old man with a long white beard that touched his toes, wearing a tall blue pointy hat, and a long sparkly cloak. Jack looked up at him with amazement. He mumbled, “Who are you and where am I? I need to find my eggs! Will you help me?”

All of a sudden, Jack fell to the floor and woke up from his dream. He looked around and realized it was all a dream! He never met the bunny and the man with the pointy hat. He was in his house, and in his bed sleeping! He went downstairs and started looking for his eggs! They were still missing...so he kept looking around the house. Then he saw a his eggs hiding under a shelf with a huge chocolate bunny! "The Easter bunny must have taken my eggs and hid them from me!" Jack was excited and took his eggs back to his room where he went back to bed.
