Stories and Voicethreads
Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to your Teacher Leader. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.
Please visit the
for more information.
If you would like to share any contact information please feel free to add it to the chart. This way your classes have a chance to actually "meet" some of the students that collaborate on their story.
Please feel free to make corrections to your name/school/location or add the names of teachers if you are working with someone on this project.
Note: Nancy Taylor's school closes for the summer on May 13, so you will want to get the VoiceThread completed before then so her class can view it.

Title : The Candy Art Mystery of D.C.
Start your story here:
One night the colorful lego gremlins dug a tunnel underground to a secret trap door and crept very quietly into the Museum of Candy Art in the land of D. C. (Delicious City). The next morning the security guards realized that some of the most expensive candy art had been stolen. The “Mona Laffy Taffy” had little nibbles out of the frame and a missing nose on her face. They found finger prints on the walls by the painting of “The Starry Nerds.” Fregley, the security Great Dane sniffed a trail down the hallway, found the secret trap door, and...
barked to alert another guard dog. Indiana the Irish Setter came running. Fregley and Indiana went through the trap door. They looked down, sniffed around, and found candy crumbs. While following the candy crumb trail, they saw little black footprints and decided to follow them into the secret tunnel. Being the brave dogs they were, they went into the deep, dark tunnel only to find...
a broken, chocolate bunny mural and the body of a sour patch statue. Indiana and Fregley looked up to see small, creeping shadows along the tunnel wall ahead. They crept closer, following the shadows until they came upon a rainbow sherbet river. In the distance, the guard dogs spotted a lego gremlin glaring at them from across the river. All of a sudden, a metal cage dropped from the ceiling of the tunnel, only to trap the two guard dogs and...
drop them into a chocolate cave. Fergley pulled his sweettart keys out of his pocket and unlocked the cage door. Fergley and Indiana went to the lollypop door of the chocolate cave. They slowly opened the door and entered the DC Police Station. Indiana barked to the Georgia Bulldog chief, “Please help us!” The chief asked, “What’s up dawgs?” The two guard dogs began to tell the tale of what had happened at the Museum of Candy Art. The GA Bulldog chief called all his police dogs and gave them the description of the lego gremlins. They printed up fliers with pictures of the lego gremlins and took off to....
post them on trees in the park in hopes that all the dogs that visit the park will want to help. The next day, a labrador retriever named Professor Magma read the sign. He gathered all his friends and ran swiftly to the D.C. Police Station. "We want to help find the sneaky Lego Gremlins", said Professor Magma. The dog police lead the army of tough dogs to Chocolate Cave. Once inside the cave, the dogs where distracted by juicy, meaty treats. The Lego Gremlins had time to remove body parts and build a large wall. They didn't think about how much energy the treats would give the dogs. Now they were strong and full of energy! They knocked down the wall and captured all of the sneaky gremlins. Fregley, Indiana, and Georgia Bulldog took them to the police station where they were put in jail. Their punishment was to rebuild all of the candy art that was stolen or eaten. The citizens of Delicious City were excited to visit the Museum of Candy Art once again. The Lego Gremlins learned their lesson and were respectful from then on.
