Progressive Story 7
Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to me. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Title (given by the last class to write): The Haunted House
Type your story here:
One spooky Halloween night, two trick-or-treaters came upon a haunted house. The children knocked three times on the door- knock, knock, knock….creak went the door. Guess who answered?
A fierce sharp-fanged VAMPIRE! He was as pale as a ghost with cherry red lips. “Welcome! You are just in time for dinner. Would you like to come in?” asked the deadly vampire. “Aaaaaaah!” screamed the frightened children. They didn’t know what to do next. They carefully tiptoed inside the creepy haunted house.
The first things they saw were crawling, black cats with green, glowing eyes and swirling spider webs filled with big, black, hairy spiders. They heard moaning ghosts, creaking doors, and howling winds coming in through the open windows. The children were scared but they could see the vampire's wife and kid in the dining room with trick-or-treat candy. The smell of the candy attracted them toward the dining room. Slowly and carefully they took small steps. They wished they had a flashlight to see through the thick fog in the house. They were almost to the candy, BUT, SUDDENLY, they plummeted through a hole in the floor! Oh, no, they were in ....
a dark pitch black .............TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The vampire laughed a very spooky laugh and said, "you foolish children!!!!!!! Didn't your parents tell you not to go into stranger's houses?" It was true. Their parents DID tell them not to go into strangers houses. The children were sad after they heard that ...
“Do you have any idea how we can get out of here?" asked one of the kids. “Yes, lets try to break the lock” said the other kid. They stumbled through the dark trap until they found the locked door. They kicked and shook the lock so hard that it fell to the ground. They pushed the door open and fell out into a dimly lit room. “It looks like we are in the basement,” said the children. They started to explore the basement. “Hey, that looks like a door, lets try to open it” they said. The door opened and they saw stairs. As they started to walk up the narrow stairs they could see slithering snakes, black hairy spiders and big bats. They ran as fast as they could up the stairs. When they reached the top they realized they were back in the dining room. They saw big scary black shadows. As the children were shaking they screamed, “AHHH, I’m scared!” The shadows moved closer. The children thought it was the vampires coming back. All of a sudden two figures came around the corner. It was their moms! Their mom said, “We were worried about you and came looking. Lets get out of this place and finish trick or treating.” And that is just what they did.
