Progressive Story 3
Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to me. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.
If you would like to share information about you email address, Skype name, iChat name, etc., please feel free to do so. Some teachers mentioned that they would like to actually "meet" some of the students that collaborate on their story.

One night, a teenager named Nathan went to a haunted house. He thought it was haunted because it had busted windows, spider webs on the window frames, and the door always opened and closed by itself. He decided to go by himself because he wanted to keep where the house was located a secret. A few weeks before, while he was camping out and looking for firewood, he had found the house. It happened to be next to a graveyard!
Nathan first went into the graveyard but while he was looking back at the haunted house, Frankenstein jumped out at him! Frankenstein chased Nathan into the haunted house. When Nathan ran into the house, he ran into the bathroom to try to hide from Frankenstein. Oh no! A skeleton was standing in the sink! But that made Frankenstein turn and run the other way! Nathan also ran out of the bathroom and he quickly locked the door. He then ran into a huge disco-ball room that was painted yucky blue. A ghost walked out of the wall and started to dance the disco! The ghost froze when he saw Nathan and ran back into the wall. Suddenly Nathan heard a yell from somewhere in the house. He thought it was coming from upstairs so he climbed the stairs and went into a spooky green bedroom. Eight mummies jumped up and began to dance the ballet! And what a surprise—there also was his brother and sister! The three went back downstairs and headed back to the ballroom. More ghosts came out of the walls and tried to catch the children. One caught Nathan and magically pushed him through the front door. He heard another yell. Was it his brother and sister? He headed for the graveyard to find them…………
Nathan walked slowly to the scary graveyard. Nathan felt scared and worried about his brother and sister. He saw tombstones that said “Rest in Peace.” He heard scratching noises, ghosts saying “Boo!” and his sister and brother screaming. Nathan ran to save them. Frankenstein, the creepy green monster, had captured his brother and sister and tied them to a tombstone. Just then, the spooky headless horseman appeared! At first, Nathan was frightened. But then, the headless horseman said, “I’m a good guy, and I’m here to save you!”
Nathan was shaken and confused. He couldn't believe that characters that he had read about could appear at his secret place. What were Frankenstein, the Headless Horseman, skeletons, mummies and ghosts doing in the real world? How did his brother and sister appear all of a sudden?
Nathan was startled by the sound of stamping hooves on the ground, the screaming from his brother and sister, Frankenstein's evil chuckle and the beating of his own heart. Although he had never believed in these characters he knew that he had to help the Headless Horseman save his brother and sister before Frankenstein harmed them any further.
While the Headless Horseman distracted Frankenstein by having his horse stand on it's hind legs and dance the Macarena, Nathan untied his brother and sister. By the time Frankenstein stopped staring in awe at the crazy horse dance, Nathan. and his brother and sister were sprinting towards the forest.
When they arrived at the campsite in the forest it was flooded. His camping stuff was soaked. Nathan, his brother and sister and the Headless Horseman gathered up all the food they could carry. The Headless Horseman said “I know a path through the swamp that leads to my house, watch out for the alligator”. They headed deep into the forest down the path towards the house. They all went inside. “His house is tall” said Nathan. “His house is beautiful”, said his sister. “I wish my house looked like this or, I had this house” said Nathan’s brother. They locked the door and watched out the window. They saw the mummies, ghosts, Frankenstein and the skeleton coming down the path. Frankenstein knocked on the door. The Headless Horseman opened the door and asked “what do you want?” Frankenstein said “we were just playing a joke on you guys.” The Headless Horseman lets them in and they all became friends and dance the Macarena.
