If you would like to share information about you: email address, Skype name, Twitter name, etc., please feel free to add it to the chart. Some teachers mentioned that they would like to actually "meet" some of the students that work on their story.

Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to me. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote. Illustrations can be drawn and photographed or created using a computer program such as Kidpix.

The Power of Imagination
Chloe and Hudson were quietly playing in the back yard when all of a sudden they heard a woman yell, "Willie the Wizard! Come over here and help!"
"Awwwwwww! Do I have to? I don't like moving house."
Chloe and Hudson peaked over the fence. They saw gold boxes, a wand, a crown full of jewels and lots of long, pointy hats decorated with stars and moons. Chloe and Hudson wondered who their new next door neighbours were. They were very very curious. They called out to Francis and Shaun to come and have a look.

Chloe and Hudson’s best friends, Francis and Shaun, came hurrying over to the fence.
“What?” Francis and Shaun yelled in unison.
Chloe and Hudson whispered to their friends about what they had seen. They all peaked over the fence.
“What is all that stuff? asked Shaun in confusion. “Halloween isn’t for three more months!”
“I want one of those hats,” exclaimed Chloe.
“I want one of those glowing sticks,” added Francis.
“What should we do now?” Chloe asked Hudson.
“I don’t know. I guess we should wait and see what they do next,” replied Hudson looking back over the fence. It looks like we have a witch and a wizard for neighbors!”
Suddenly, a monkey wearing a court jester’s outfit and carrying a wand jumped up on the fence and began swinging his wand around chanting, “Abracadabra, alakazam, turn these children into…………”

Before the monkey could say what he was going to turn the children into, a little girl (who was actually a witch) threw a hat and knocked the monkey down. The hat flew back into her hand. “Sorry about Bobo, he’s mischievous sometimes. My name is Angela.”
The monkey picking himself up said, “Why did you do that? I was trying to practice my magic.”
“ You were being a bad monkey. You go to timeout in the van, right now.” The monkey walked over to the moving van sobbing along the way. Angela turned back to the four scared children.
Chloe was the first to speak. She said, "Th..th..thank you for saving us. My name is Chloe. This is Shaun, Hudson, and Francis."
Just then Angela's mother saw Angela talking to the children. She said angrily, "Angela, come inside. You are not supposed to be talking to normal people."

"We are not normal people, we have magic powers just like you!!" exclaimed Chloe. Then Francis, Shaun, and Hudson said, "We have the power of imagination!!". Angela's mother smiled and said, "Then you are welcome to come inside". When they walked in, they saw a floating, changing colored, fur carpet and floating furniture. The walls appeared old and the paint was peeling off of them. The staircase was narrow and windy. Shelves were lining all of the walls. They were filled with potions of various colors, shapes, and sizes. The floors creaked loudly when you took a step. When they looked around, they noticed Angela and her mother were floating around on the magic carpets. Angela floated over and said, "Do you guys want to see my room?". They all agreed and within two seconds four carpets were at their feet. The carpets were so fast that it only took 5 seconds to arrive in Angela's room.

Angela showed the children all the wonderful things in her room. As Angela talked about the furniture in her room it became like new and did a little dance. One piece in particular shone very brightly. As the children became more excited it began to glow a reddish orange colour.
Chloe asked “What’s that shine in the mirror over there.”
Angela looked surprised “That’s never happened before.” she replied
At the same time, while the children were exploring Angela's room, Bobo and left the van and climbed up the outside of the house and snuck in through the window. He had a very mischievous smile on his face as he raised his wand and whispered “Abracadabra, alakazam, turn these children into fr….”
But just before he could finish the last word of his chant. Shaun realised what was going to happen and screamed. At the very same instant the mirror started to glow even brighter and sucked Bobo in. It knew the children were in danger so it saved them.
Angela looked shocked and gasped "What happened ?”
The children all looked into the mirror to see where Bobo had gone but were startled and jumped backed when the mirror said “I will send him back when he decides to be good.”
Hudson asked “How did you do that?
The Magic mirror said “It’s just magic and I get my power from imagination. I can take you anywhere that you can imagine."
“Cool !” the five friends exclaimed in unison. “Our adventures are about to begin.”
