If you would like to share information about you: email address, Skype name, Twitter name, etc., please feel free to add it to the chart. Some teachers mentioned that they would like to actually "meet" some of the students that work on their story.

Your class will be writing ONE group paragraph(s) for the story (not each student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will also need to send (email as .jpg) the 3 pictures to me. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote. Illustrations can be drawn and photographed or created using a computer program such as Kidpix.

Start your story here: Jake's and Finn's Adventure

On a sunny and breezy spring morning I was riding my bike down the road. I could feel the fresh breeze in my face and was enjoying my bike ride. I started to pedal super fast and was going as fast as a cheetah when all of a sudden my bike caught on fire. I should probably tell you where I live and why I was riding so fast. My name is Jake and I live in the mountains of Colorado with my dog Finn. Finn and I were out patrolling the neighborhood like we normally do when we saw an evil rabbit named Fluffy. Finn told me he had seen Fluffy eating some carrots out of a garden without asking. We decided to go after Fluffy since he had stolen some carrots.

Now Fluffy is no ordinary rabbit. Fluffy is shape shifter with super powers. He has the power to turn into anything which makes catching him hard. He can also throw fire and turn invisible or teleport to somewhere else. Finn and I have been trying to catch Fluffy for years. Fluffy likes to steal food from the local farmers. Now Fluffy has one weakness. That weakness is water! Water takes away all his powers, so Finn and I always carry our super soaker guns.

First though, I needed to go home and get my heelies because my bike had burned up. "Stay here Finn," I said, "I will be right back." When I got back Finn was gone but his super soaker and a video tape were left behind. I went home to watch the tape. On it I saw Fluffy holding Finn by his SpongeBob SquarePants collar. Finn looked frightened. His eyes were glowing from the light of the fireball Fluffy was holding. I could see the hideout in the gleaming light of the fireball. They were on the ferris wheel at an old abandoned amusement park. I popped out my heelies and sped to the old abandoned amusement park in town. There I snuck up on Fluffy and Finn sitting in a cart on the wheel. I aimed my super soaker at the evil rabbit, Fluffy. I shot! Oh, no, I missed! Fluffy saw the water and without thinking vanished without Finn. I ran to the cart to see my dog and also saw ... a clue...

Finn was sniffing around at something u-shaped and hard on the ground. "Hey Finn, I think you found something!" I said. The clue we found was a set of muddy prints and a horseshoe. "I think Fluffy turned into a horse and ran away!" barked Finn. The prints led to a stable nearby where there were lots of horses. "Oh no! Which one is Fluffy?" I cried. "Well, maybe we can find out by making a trap with carrots, because Fluffy loves carrots," said Finn. "But all horses like carrots!" I argued. "What if our trap used carrots and water? We know one horse who hates water, but the rest love it!" We quickly designed a trap. Our trap used a long piece of string attached to the sprinkler in the field. When the horses walked into the string to get the carrots on the other side of the sprinkler, they would trip the sprinkler system and it would spray water at them. Just one horse would not like that. "Do you think it will work?" barked Finn. "We'll have to wait and see!" I said

As Jake and Finn approached the barn with their trap, they peered into the stable to see if there were any horses missing a horse shoe, but they couldn’t tell. They quickly set up the trap in the nearby meadow and opened the door to the stable. As a back up, they kept their Super Soakers close by. When the horses smelled the carrots in the trap, they galloped over. As they galloped, they hit the string of the trap. The sprinklers went berserk. The horses chomped on the carrots while the water soaked them. One horse began to bellow like King Kong as he transformed and shrank into a sopping wet rabbit. Jake and Finn quickly popped a carton over the soggy rabbit, trapping him. The rabbit begged them to spare his life and promised he would never be evil again. From that day on, Fluffy became a carrot guard and guarded all the carrots. The farmers and gardeners were happy that their carrots were never eaten by rabbits again.
